Whether
you’re coming from virtually any longitude or
latitude in the Tri-State area, Lititz United Methodist
Church is easy to find. And, in case you don’t
happen to have one of those new-fangled in-dash satellite
navigation systems in your car or truck, we’ve
provided some detailed directions that are guaranteed
to get you here.
From
Philadelphia and the East:
Take PA Turnpike West getting off at Exit 21 Reading/Lancaster.
Stay
in the left lane and take Route 222 South to the second
exit Route 772.
Turn
right at the bottom of exit ramp and follow Route
772 West through Rothsville into Lititz where Route
772 becomes East Main Street.
Stay
on East Main until the light at the town square and
turn right onto North Broad Street. (Route 501 North).
Cross
the railroad tracks by Wilbur Chocolate Co., go through
the light at Lincoln Ave., and take the second right
after the light onto East Market Street.
Go
to the second stop sign; the church is at the corner
of North New Street and Market Street.
From Harrisburg and the West:
Take Route 283 from Harrisburg (First junction after
exiting Turnpike at Harrisburg East Interchange) toward
Lancaster.
Exit
at Manheim Mount Joy exit.
Turn
left onto Mount Joy Road.
Proceed
to Manheim crossing Route 72 at the square (alternate
route is to take Route 72 south from Turnpike to this
point and turn left at square in Manheim) and proceed
to Lititz where road become Lincoln Avenue.
Cross
Route 501 at traffic light and proceed two blocks
to North New Street
Turn
left and go one block to East Market Street. The church
is on the corner.
From Lebanon and the North:
Take
I-81 exiting at Route 443 and proceed east toward
Pine Grove to intersection with Route 501 South.
Proceed
south on Route 501 crossing Route 78, Route 422 and
Route 322.
As
you approach Lititz, you will pass United Zion Home
on your right and cross Newport Road at the traffic
light by the Sheetz gas station.
As
you enter the borough there will be a sign announcing
"Lititz - Founded in 1756." Turn on East
Market Street, the second left in the borough (before
the traffic light at Lincoln Avenue).
Go
to the second stop sign; the church is at the corner
of North New Street and Market Street.
From
Lancaster and the South:
Take Route 501 North from Lancaster.
Proceed
past Lancaster Airport into Lititz (Broad St.).
Proceed
through the square, across railroad tracks, through
light at Lincoln Avenue.
The
second right after the light is East Market Street.
Go
to the second stop sign; the church is at the corner
of North New Street and Market Street.
