Congregational Care Ministries

Visiting with those who are homebound is a blessing for the resident as well as the visitor! Our Parish Visitor ministry offers caring, regular contact with those of our congregation and community who are otherwise separated from the congregation because of age, illness, disability, or residence in a nursing facility. If you would like to share God’s love by becoming a caring visitor to “such as these,” please contact Pastor Steve Rodgers using the form below. He will connect you with the Parish Visitor coordinator.

Our Lay Pastors offer more specific or crisis ministry visitation: through hospital visits, grief counseling, and specific encouragement through trial. These specially trained individuals deal with deeper issues and offer broader support, under Pastor Steve’s direction.

Other caring ministries our congregation provides include: rides to doctors’ appointments, meals after surgery or other trials, and home repair. For more information on any of these ministries, please contact Pastor Steve using the form. You can also call the church office at 717-626-2710; his extension is 104.
