Worship can take many forms, and we are truly blessed to offer a wide range of experiences here at Lititz UMC. We offer weekly worship services in both traditional and contemporary forms. Sunday School classes begin at 9:00 and 10:30 AM for all age groups, and a range of ministry options to supplement our regular schedules.
Our traditional services include Scriptures, hymns, choral anthems, and weekly messages on a range of topics. Organ and piano music are standard, with a range of additional music options appearing periodically.
Contemporary worship at Lititz UMC is led by our Awakened praise band, with guitars, drums, piano, and singers. A variety of media options are used to enhance our worship experience. You will also hear Scripture and weekly sermons on culturally relevant topics.
Communion services are held on the first Sunday of each month during both services. United Methodists have an “open communion” table. This means that you don’t have to be a member of our church, or a member of any United Methodist Church to celebrate the Lord’s Supper with us. All that we ask of communicants is that you come with an open mind and a repentant heart.
Our church believes strongly in the power of prayer. Praying for healing, whether emotional, physical, or spiritual, is one of the most important things we can do to help others. We have a time of spiritual healing on the third Sunday of every month during both worship services.
